The eSOP is designed for the Apple companion application called GunTRAC in the App Store. This is a free download. The mobile application will allow you to scan nearly any barcode format in existence, and use that decoded barcode value as a key for rapid asset assignments, FTO and SOP guidance, inspections, assembly, and much more.
Every organization can make an "eSOP" or “Traveler”. The only requirements today is that you have a barcoded value to use as a reference. The barcoded value should correspond to a serialized asset serial number, or a known value which can be manually traced in the MOP Record Review.
Record Review
Entering the key value and selecting the eSOP in the search field will provide a report of all procedural claims rendering location, time and value of the data collected.
The steps, or standard operating procedure points, provide an operator a guided process to either enter text, check a box, upload a file (photo), etc.
There are essentially limitless business methods that can be enforced or guided using the mobile operations tool. Allowing the GuNTRAC iOS application to access GPS and Camera will allow your team members to greatly supplement field efforts.
No content is stored on the mobile device at any point, any photo’s taken will be encrypted with AES-256 encryption and transmitted to the APB360 secure storage cluster. It is possible to review the content being captured in near real-time from any desktop APB360 session.
This tool can be used for simple inspection processes of an asset (where the asset serial number would be the barcode value) or for complex standard operating procedures.
NOTE: Only the operator who has claimed a step (inputted information) is capable of changing a value in the system. However, many operators can work within the eSOP, claiming portions of the data collection process. For example, one operator may take photos, and the other enters textual values or check off steps. This collaborative capability allows for improved efficiencies and accountability.
